Andjela obtained a Bachelor Degree in Music and Performing Arts and a Master’s Degree in Musicology at the University of Bologna, earned a Master’s Degree in Opera Stage Direction at the Verona Opera Academy, and completed the Master’s Course in Drama Direction at the Paolo Grassi Institute in Milan. Andjela has directed Geminiani’s contemporary opera Cannetella (2015), Carmen (2016), La serva padrona (2017), Alcina (2018), her own theatrical performance Il Cuore oltre l’ostacolo (2018), as well as Brancati-D’Urso’s four melologues Storie di donne (2019). In 2015 Andjela co-directed an Adriana Lecouvreur at the Macedonia Opera and Ballet House. Andjela has worked in Italy, China, Hong Kong, Macedonia and Malta, with renowned directors such as D. Gately, E. Stinchelli, P.L. Pizzi, H. Brockhaus, D. Abbado, L. Valentino, G. Palumbo, L. Orfeo, R. Bonajuto, Natale De C, E. Castiglione, A. Triola, S. Panighini, F. Bellotto, and C. Saletti. In 2016 Andjela won the first prize for staging in the contest Open Opera.
