Maddalena DeichmannMaddalena’s management experience embraces all areas of live and filmed entertainment, from documentary films to commercials, opera to musicals, from theatre to concerts, between the US and Europe. As Director of Artistic Administration for Trentino Music Festival Maddalena oversees the planning, production and operation of the summer events.

As a Production and Stage Manager Maddalena has worked and toured with companies in the US, the UK, and Europe. Favorite credits include Don Giovanni and The Threepenny Opera (Tanglewood Music Festival), Manon Lescaut (Royal Opera Covent Garden), Hänsel und Gretel and Susannah (Connecticut Opera), Zanna, Don’t! (Off-Broadway), The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (The Public Theatre, NYC), and the National Italian tours of Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita.

Maddalena studied at Yale University, where she was the first accepted Special Student in Theatre Management, received a degree in Musical Theatre performance and production from the Bernstein School of Musical Theatre, and holds an MFA from the University of Bologna, where she graduated with honours with a dissertation on Theatre Management and Organization.
