The Trentino Music Festival has an outstanding reputation as the premier young artist training program in Europe. The Young Performers Studio will include faculty artists from across the Musical Theatre and Opera Studios; who are engaged by major opera houses and concert halls, as well as leading conservatories of music in the US and Europe. As educators, they bring passion to the training process and are committed to helping each student cultivate their unique strengths and develop performance skills.

Robert Meffe, Head of the SDSU MFA Musical Theatre Program, spent twenty-two years in New York City as a professional conductor, music director, keyboardist, orchestrator, arranger and music copyist.

Award-winning New York City director, Vincent is the Joseph Weinberger Chair of Acting for the Lyric Stage and the Patricia A. Corbett Distinguished Chair of Musical Theatre at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music.

Alan Fischer

Alan Fischer is an accomplished teacher specializing in operatic character development and audition presentation for singers. From 1994 to 2019 he was the Chair of the Vocal Music Department at the Governor's School of the Arts in Norfolk, Virginia where he developed a very successful classical vocal music program with an emphasis on opera and art song for high school students.

Ross Sharkey is a singing teacher and Estill Master Trainer, instructing at some of the UK’s most prestigious and historical institutions. He is a Singing Professor on the postgraduate Musical Theatre course at the Royal Academy of Music, technical singing teacher for the boy choristers of Westminster Cathedral, and singing teacher at Eton College, and King’s College School, Wimbledon.
