The Trentino Music Festival has an outstanding reputation as the premier young artist training program in Europe. Our faculty artists are engaged by major symphonies, concert halls, and opera houses, as well as leading conservatories of music in the US and Europe. British vocal coach Paul Plummer is the Studienleiter at the Staatstheater in Oldenburg, where he also is the head vocal coach of the newly formed Opera Studio.

Robert Meffe, Head of the SDSU MFA Musical Theatre Program, spent twenty-two years in New York City as a professional conductor, music director, keyboardist, orchestrator, arranger and music copyist.

J. David Jackson gained critical acclaim leading the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra in performances of Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice staring Anthony Roth Costanzo. He returns to the Met this season for Die Zauberflöte.
