At the Trentino Music Festival participants are immersed in an atmosphere of extraordinary music making, and the rich cultural exchange that comes from performing with musicians from different cultures and countries in a beautiful international setting.
The Orchestra Studio is a pre-professional training & performance program for students between the ages of 18-32 interested in pursuing a career as a 21st century professional musician. The five-week program provides participants with high-calibre technical training, practical audition tools, and rich performance experiences led by an internationally acclaimed faculty.
The orchestra is led by Metropolitan Opera conductor J. David Jackson and encompasses a full range of strings, winds, brass, and percussion. Maestro Jackson, along with a renowned faculty of resident conductors and master teachers curates a program aimed at empowering musicians through rigorous training, outstanding performance opportunities, and the realization of the multi-faceted layers necessary for a successful career in today’s changing musical landscape.

Auditions – Young Artists are accepted by Video auditions. To apply, click “Apply Now!” and fill out the application and attach your audition video.
Acceptance – Early applications are strongly encouraged to ensure participation in the festival. Once accepted you will receive an acceptance package with pertinent information on the festival, payments, travel, housing, and information pertinent to your stay in Italy. Musical assignments are made by the music director.
Cost – Free Tuition & Housing are provided by a generous grant from Music Academy International. Participants pay an administrative/music fee of $500.
Deadline – The application deadline is March 31.
